WORLDVIEW CAMPSITE was born with the dream of a young Maasai goat herder who wanted to build a campground. He acquired tribal land on a barren hill overlooking Lake Natron with full views of active volcano Oldoiniyo Lengai. With money savings he purchased plastic piping and began watering the hill and planting trees and grass. With a partner, the buildings for bathrooms, showers, lodges and dinning area were established.
